Ying Yang Brings Some Funk to Mobile

MOBILE, AL- HUKA Entertainment and Soul Kitchen presents the Ying Yang Twins, live at the Soul Kitchen, Sunday, January 21, 2007. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $23 at the door the day of the event.

The Atlanta based Ying Yang Twins came onto the rap scene in 2000 with the single “Whistle While You Twurk.” The single got play on urban and pop radio stations and peaked at #16 on the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart. Their full-length debut album, Thug Walkin’, came out later that year. The Ying Yang Twins achieved even more popularity when they collaborated with the self-styled “King of Crunk” Lil Jon on his 2002 single “Get Low”. The group’s fifth album, Chemically Imbalance, was released in November 2006. For this album the Twins collaborated with super producers Wyclef Jean and Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis in addition to Mr. Collipark. There is no doubt that the Ying Yang Twins will be one of the biggest dance parties of the year.
